How to Cook Tortang Okra (Lady’s Finger)

We are familiar with tortang talong or eggplant omelet. You love it, but preparing may be a bit messy. This recipe is similar to that torta except that there will be no grilling involved. It is a lot easier! Chop your okra, mix it with your flour, egg, and spices and then fry it. Done! Letting your kids (and even adults!) eat okra or ladies finger is at times difficult, especially if they do not want that slimy texture. If that is the case, you will find your okra almost wilting because no one would like to cook and eat it! We hope that this recipe will ease your problem on okra surplus. Enjoy cooking!

Ingredients
10 pcs okra, sliced
2 pcs eggs
2 medium onions, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup flour
salt & pepper, to taste
cooking oil, for frying

Instructions
Wash and slice the okra. Mince the onions and garlic.
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except for cooking oil. Mix well.
Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
Slowly add some of the mixture. Fry until both sides are golden brown. Repeat until all the mixture is consumed.
Serve and enjoy your tortang okra!
