How to cook: Filipino Beef Picadillo
Filipino Beef Picadillo
Ingredients:
500g Ground beef
Potatoes
1 pack of frozen peas
Carrots
Tomatoes
White onion
Garlic
Soy sauce
Tomato Ketchup
Bay leaves
Raisins
Salt
Pepper
Canola Oil
Egg (hard-boiled for plating)
Water
How to cook:
Heat some canola oil in a saucepan.
Saute onions, garlic, and tomatoes.
Add in the ground beef.
Drop in the bay leaves and the soy sauce.
Pour in half a cup of water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Add in the diced potatoes and carrots and peas combo. Cover again for another 3 minutes.
Add in the raisins, tomato ketchup, and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for another 2 minutes.
Ready and Serve with plain rice. Enjoy! 😋😋
